Can I ask a question about an offer before I purchase?
Yes! If you have a question about an offer, just send us an “Ask a Question” email message. We’ll get back to you via email ASAP.
How much time do I have to prep before my experience?
How do I know if a host is really qualified?
We personally vet all of our hosts and items to make sure it’s got what it takes for a great offer. We’re always on the lookout for the most uniquely-qualified people and items, taking great pride in each and every one of our choice. On top of that, each host is a Harlem World Magazine expert contributor (check out our list of contributors at HarlemWorldMag.com).
What if my plans change? Is there a cancellation/refund policy?
All sales on Harlem Experiences are final. Harlem Experiences bookings cannot be cancelled or rescheduled.
However, each booking is transferable to another person for no additional cost. Guest names for all purchased spots can be updated with 48 hours notice by an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I book a Harlem Experiences offer?
Getting started is as easy as 1,2, 3:
- Click on the “Book Now” banner you want right now.
- Checkout by entering payment for your purchase using the email@example.com address (email us after you have made your payment at Paypal.com).
- Now email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with the “Name Of The Offer” in the subject line and confirmation of offer payment
How will I know where to meet a host?
- You’ll receive an email
- A confirmation code
- Start location
- Start time and
- Additional support information.
Once you get the offer time please let punctuality be your guide to the Harlem Experience you’ve chosen. Allowing for the unexpected, your host will wait at least 15 minutes for you. Arrivals past that allotted time, though, will get left behind and still be charged.
Should I Tip?
